Article 1 (Application)

These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as "the Terms") set forth the conditions for using NowLing (hereinafter referred to as "the App") and apply to all users of the App.

Article 2 (Conditions of Use)

  1. Users shall use the App only after agreeing to the Terms.
  2. The App shall be used at the user's own responsibility.
  3. The App requires the download of language models for on-device translation. Users are responsible for the data communication costs associated with these downloads.

Article 3 (Prohibited Acts)

Users shall not engage in any of the following acts when using the App:

  1. Acts that violate laws or public order and morals.
  2. Acts that destroy or interfere with the functions of the App or its servers.
  3. Acts that interfere with the operation of the App.
  4. Recording or using translated content in a way that infringes upon the copyrights or intellectual property rights of third parties (e.g., unauthorized distribution of translated movie or broadcast content).
  5. Acts of analyzing, reverse engineering, or otherwise attempting to obtain the source code of the App.
  6. Any other acts deemed inappropriate by us.

Article 4 (Disclaimer)

  1. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of the translation results.
  2. The App performs translation processing on-device; however, we do not guarantee that the App will function perfectly on all devices or under all OS versions.
  3. We shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or disadvantages arising from the use of the App, including but not limited to any misunderstandings, legal issues, or consequences resulting from reliance on the translation results.
  4. The App is provided for personal use. It is not intended for use in high-stakes environments where absolute accuracy is required (e.g., legal, medical, or formal business negotiations).
  5. We may change, suspend, or terminate the contents of the App without prior notice.
